From filming parkour videos on my iPod as a kid grew a fascination for visual storytelling. Few years down the line I find myself filming shorts stories for school and short-form content for communities.

This short sequence pays tribute to Quentin Tarantino’s Jackie Brown, reimagining a darkly absurd moment in which Samuel L. Jackson’s character drives around the block to shoot a man he had just placed in his trunk. Since we’re more peaceful souls we chose a lighter version, pointing out the same absurdity that inspired the scene.

For our final BMS project, we were tasked with creating a piece that explores the concept of «care». Centering on self-care and the responsibility that comes with freedom of choice, we developed a story that invites viewers to reflect on whether doing what we want truly means doing what is good for us.

Through my involvement in a Christian non-profit organization, I had the opportunity to be part of several outstanding media teams. Surrounded by a strong team spirit and inspiring mentors, I developed a deeper understanding of what it means to create for a community bridging the social and the media.
